OpenSONIX Technology
An Open Platform
Traditional systems are hardware-based, making them difficult to upgrade and benefit from the latest technology development in Ultrasound. The OpenSONIX Ultrasound platform is a powerful software-based platform that essentially runs the Ultrasonix software, along with add-on plug-ins, and is connected to a reprogrammable 8192 channels beamformer. The beamformer and platform can be reprogrammed with new software for keeping up to date with image and technology advancements.
Leading Innovation
The OpenSONIX Ultrasound platform is at the core of the entire family of systems manufactured by Ultrasonix, including the SonixRP. Ultrasonix is the leading provider of Ultrasound systems for Research worldwide. With the ability to develop imaging Plug-ins, research groups are able to develop and validate new Ultrasound technologies. These technologies, as they get clinical validated, can be provided on all the systems based on the OpenSONIX platform.
